Hardcore punk/rap/metal band Cold World presents an atmosphere that is simply nonexistent in any other hardcore group. They pick, cut and paste the best of different music genres and unify the sounds of working-class, straightforward hardcore with a sample-heavy, old school flow. Subtle lyrical references to rap classics, random incorporations of electronic drums and excellent, raw sounding samples... The overall thrashy sound makes them sound dropped-down and dirty. Cold World is a classic band already.

Heavy, dark, old school hardcore that blazes and rages. Fast and shredding guitars all of a sudden give away a fast but melodic solo that feels like a blizzard: life threatening but of a seducing beauty. Gritty breakdowns break the speed barrage as well, but it always feels like someone tries to hit the brakes of a train on the loose. Enraging hardcore for the frustrated kids.
