Riff-oriented progressive thrash metal, brutal and fast with subtle and clever melodies. Dueling guitar and bass-riffs with a singer ranging quickly from guttural singing to singing from his stomach. Impressive.

Long Distance Calling is an instrumental prog rock/metal band that sounds dark, heavy, knotty and sometimes creepy. Meanwhile the band uniquely succeeds in sounding entertaining, weaving melody after melody that smoothly interlock. The lack of vocals is definitively rewarding for this band as the main focus goes very rightly so to their instrumental creativities.

Norway's self-proclaimed deathpop/bloodcore Blood Command sounds as an explosion of energy, a frantic death struggle, a psychopath on the verge of losing his shit altogether. The female vocal screamings are a bit reminiscent of Blood Brothers' schizophrenic soft/loud vocals while musicwise At The Drive-In, late Refused and an urge to simply rock out make up the sound. Punk noise in 2012 baby.

Ambient prog, but incredibly crunchy and groovy. Floating instrumentals and vocals are set off against ferocious, technical staccato riffs. Uneven structure, indeed.
