Every Converge album is a milestone in the heavy music community and the band's latest is the most integral album to date in a catalog that's celebrated to an almost religious degree by countless fans of punk, metal and hardcore. HARM'S WAY (us)
“Rust” is the new album from Harm’s Way. Recorded at Brick Top Recordings by Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos, Dead In The Dirt), mixed at God City Studios by Kurt Ballou (Converge, High On Fire), and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Nails). Brutally and meticulously refined, “Rust” brilliantly combines industrial repetition (think Godflesh), metal attack (think Sepultura, Helmet, Celtic Frost), and hardcore aggression. Showing that Harm’s Way have emerged from the wreckage of past genres as the new high watermark of heavy in contemporary aggressive music.

Young and in the Way is a blackened crust band from Charlotte, NC. Their music is described as cold, hard and loud with ties to hardcore and black metal.

OATHBREAKER (b)
A swirling mix of metal, punk and hardcore destruction. Similarities in Oathbreaker's ferocity to bands like Cursed, Rise And Fall and From Ashes Rise are apparent, but merely a flashpoint for them. Where "Maelstrom" acted as individual fragments of aural shrapnel, "Eros|Anteros" is a monstrous shockwave of sound. It is Oathbreaker's story of love and the anti-love (life and death), and the growth they have experienced through these trials.
